What vision problems can LASIK treat?
LASIK eye surgery can treat myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism (blurred vision at near and far distances).
Is LASIK painful?
You may feel a mild pressure while the laser is being used, but there's often minimal pain associated with LASIK surgery. Numbing drops are used prior to the procedure to alleviate any discomfort.
What is the recovery time after LASIK?
Most patients notice clearer vision immediately and return to their normal routine within 24-hour of the procedure.
Can I still get vision correction if I’m not a candidate for LASIK?
Yes. If LASIK isn’t the best fit for your eyes, we offer alternative treatments such as ICL, RLE and other advanced lens-based options designed for aging eyes. Your surgeon will help determine which procedure is safest and most effective for you.
